What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired so that it is without error. It has been preserved by God and is the divinely established authority and standard for doctrine and practice.
  • We believe the Godhead exists in three persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God.
  • We believe that God by His sovereign choice and out of love for men sent Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ. in the flesh, was both God and Man. He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified and died as a penalty for our sins and was raised from the dead, bodily, on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right-hand where He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. He will one day come again personally. bodily, and visibly to this earth.
  • We believe that by His death, Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin. His death provided a way for all men to be saved from eternal death and separation from God.
  • We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ, by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit.

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
